Not much is known about Jill Valentine before she became a S.T.A.R.S. Member. What we do know is, she completed a special training course with the Delta Force, a unit of the U.S. Army. According to the book by S.D Perry, Jill followed her fathers footsteps and was a cat burglar but her father was sent to prison and he talked her out of following his footsteps and get a job with the police. Jill Valentine is an intelligent solider and she does all she can to make sure her comrades will be safe. She has strong moral convictions and fights for what she believes in. Jill was reassigned from an out-of state S.T.A.R.S Unit to Raccoon City. Her exceptional skill in using mechanical devices from APCs to lockpicks make her an excellent team member. She is a talented young woman who is full of life but can be a bit too impulsive at times. Jill is usually fine under pressure.

Jill's Motion Actress Profile Jill's motion actress in the intro and ending of Resident Evil 1 is played by 'Inezh' according to the credit role, however the birth name of the actress is Una Kavanagh.
